Try your hand at waterfall rappelling with Mumbai Rangers at Bekre Waterfall in Bhivpuri. First, set out on a trek to the gushing waterfall. Once here, you will descend on a patch of rock right under the falls. The trip is open to anyone over seven years of age, provided they are fit.

Bond with your kids (seven years and above) on a trek to Kondana Caves in Karjat. Soak in the lush greenery as you walk along a forest trail, and explore the ancient Buddhist caves at its end. Organised by Kshitij World, the easy trek will also include splashing around under a cascading waterfall.

Rafting fun
Set out on an adventure-filled river rafting trip to Kolad. Organised by AO Trekkers, it is open to anyone older than 18. You will travel a distance of 14 km, and the activity will last approximately 2.5 hours, depending on the strength of the currents.
